Executive Assistant
We are seeking new team members in the role of Executive Assistant to expand our ability to honor every donor organ by transforming the future of medicine together. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in supporting the CEO by managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, facilitating communication, and assisting with strategic projects. This position requires someone who is not only highly organized and detail-oriented but also capable of anticipating needs, solving problems, and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
You will be a critical partner to the CEO, ensuring their time is managed effectively and that they have the resources and information needed to lead the company toward its goals.
Scientist II
We are seeking a new team member in the role of Scientist II to expand our ability to honor every donor organ by transforming the future of medicine together. The Scientist II will independently perform a variety of wet laboratory procedures of technical nature as well as assist in developing and executing SOPs, protocols, and pipelines for generation of multi-dimensional data from primary human samples and organs. The position requires downstream processing of tissue and biofluids from research organs that are donated to Revalia and have undergone ex vivo perfusion. The position also includes the sample management, data analysis, data annotation and data communcination. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a biochemistry or cell/molecular biology setting, will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions, and will be passionate for doing work to advance biomedical innovation.
The Scientist II will be required to work onsite Monday – Friday year-round.
Organ Perfusion Specialist
The Organ Perfusion Specialist undertakes a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. The position requires receiving research organs donated to Revalia and preparing those organs for perfusion experiments. The position also includes the operation of sensitive perfusion and point-of-care laboratory equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in clinical or clinical adjacent settings. He/She/They will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate for doing work to advance biomedical innovation.
The Organ Perfusion Specialist will be responsible to take call (5, 6-hour shifts) Monday – Friday and 1 in 3 weekend call (2, 12-hour shifts) year-round. Additionally, the position will be responsible for executing assigned perfusion chores (e.g. blood washing, sample stabilization).
Requirements

- Proven experience as Lab Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, Clinician or relevant position
- Experience in operating standard laboratory equipment, point of care tests, and biohazardous materials
- HSE Systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices
- Excellent physical condition and endurance
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Undergraduate Degree in Biology or relevant field
Responsibilities
- Receive training to conduct perfusion procedures on human lungs, livers, kidneys
- Learn surgical techniques and human anatomy while assisting surgeons with organ benching
- Operate clinical grade perfusion equipment
- Collect processing blood, biopsy, and urine/bile samples to build a one-of-a-kind database of isolated human physiology
- Test new lead assets in relevant human disease models
- Organize and store all chemicals substances and fluids according to safety instructions
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
- Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
